Copy rules built into every component

I wrote content guidelines into every component of Volvo Group’s Figma Make kit, so AI-generated screens have our standards to draw on.

Summary

What it is: Content guidelines written into Volvo Group’s Figma Make kit, the files AI draws on when it generates screens from the design system.
The problem: With no content rules in the kit, every word on a generated screen came from the model’s defaults.
What I did: I wrote one global guidelines file and added copy rules to each of the 37 component files. When the two conflict, the component rule wins. Each component also lists the text it expects, with accessibility and localization notes.
