Frizbee - UX WRITING
UX content for a hobby-focused decentralized app
Frizbee was getting ready to launch the app’s Alpha version and needed to create a fun experience right from the first user interactions.
“What are the things that you liked best about using Frizbee?”
”Quirky sign-up.”

USER ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE
Context:
The onboarding process for apps built on the Ethereum blockchain requires more steps than a regular app. Some of these steps are relatively hard to understand and are usually explained in a graceless technical dialect.
Frizbee aimed to attract users of various blockchain knowhow, from experts to first time explorers. The messaging needed to be clear and enjoyable for all users.
The fix:
Eliminate technical jargon, blend repetitive content to shorten the onboarding process, and make the whole experience fun and welcoming.
My input:
Collaborated with product designers and developers to identify onboarding friction points and ways to simplify the sign up
Collaborated with product owners to align on key messages
Developed tone of voice and copy
Confirmed copy clarity and emotional impact through user research sessions
IN-APP CONTENT
Context:
Being an Alpha release meant that the app’s functionality and design were elementary. This, in turn, raised the possibility of creating confusion among its first-time users. It was important to help users quickly understand the app’s features, while also continuing the experience created in the onboarding process.
The fix:
Simplify the blockchainese jargon, focusing on clear outcomes and not on technical gimmicks, while maintaining Frizbee’s tone of voice.
My input:
Collaborated with product designers and developers to understand product features and user flows
Developed copy for all points of interaction - feature titles, buttons, tooltips, section titles and descriptions

FAQ PAGE
Context:
The underlying technology of Frizbee (blockchain-based) affects how users interact with the app. Being relatively new, understanding and trusting the technology was key to overcoming potential adoption blockers.
The fix:
Create supporting content to explain both the app’s functionalities and notions relating to blockchain, Ethereum and decentralized apps.
My input:
Catalogued all product features and blockchain concepts, establishing the content structure and integrating insights from user interviews
Organized content into clear categories and defined content hierarchy
Wrote copy for the entire page, in line with Frizbee’s tone of voice
