UX content for a creators portal decentralized app

Tokit was preparing to launch their app aimed at content creators (movie directors, musicians, graphic artists, writers, etc). They needed an onboarding experience which would welcome creative minds and make the underlying technology easy to adopt.

Created a dynamic sign-up messaging, displaying several variations of text inspired by famous movie quotes. The content appealed to the app’s core user profile (creatives) and suggested the purpose and playing field of Tokit.

USER ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE

Context:
The technology used by the Tokit app and its impact on the app’s user flow and features were potential blockers in product adoption. The content needed to build trust among users and help them cross the technological gap, to discover the benefits of Tokit.

My input:

  • Collaborated with product designers and developers to identify onboarding friction points and ways to simplify the sign up

  • Developed tone of voice and copy

IN-APP CONTENT

Context:
The Tokit app needed content for its entire interface, to help users explore the app and engage with various usage scenarios.

The app included several registration and vetting (KYC) steps (mandatory for 1st time users, before they interact with the app) and multiple features aimed at various categories of users. As such, the content needed to smooth over the signup process and create clear, engaging experiences within the app.

My input:

  • Collaborated with product designers and developers to understand product features and user flows

  • Developed copy for all points of interaction - feature titles, buttons, tooltips, section titles and descriptions

FAQ PAGE

Context:
Tokit needed an FAQ page which would inform users on the app’s features, benefits, blockchain technology and the industry context.

The information which needed to be included in the FAQ page was both vast and complex. One of Tokit’s fundamental benefits and key differentiators was based on its underlying technology, still novel and slightly elusive for its target audience.

My input:

  • Catalogued all product features and blockchain concepts, establishing the content structure and standardized vocabulary

  • Organized content into clear categories and defined content hierarchy

  • Wrote copy for the entire page, focusing on simplicity and clear benefits
